Location: Toronto, ON Job Title: Computer Programmer (Symix 4.0)
Job Overview:
The ideal candidate essentially must have experience in programming and operating Symix 4.0 Release 9.00.
Responsibilities/Roles:
● Write, modify, integrate and test software code;
● Maintain existing computer programs by making
modifications as required;
● Identify and communicate technical problems, processes and solutions;
● Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software;
● Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements;
● Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications.
Qualifications:
● University degree in Computer Science or Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training;
● Minimum of three (3) years experience in computer programming using Symix 4.0 Release 9.00;
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
● Desire to learn and work in a continuously fast-changing environment;
● Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines;
● Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Finding information, Computer use.
